Maths week 6 2024 t3

Today I am blogging my maths we had to copy a goggle slide show and then we had to make up a holiday for a family of four with a budget of $10,000 and then we had to think about with the options like for example going to Fiji on a plane and then we had to chose form the options were the family of four is staying  like a 5 star hotel and more. Then we had to choose from the options where we can go like  a theme park like Disney land and more. Then we had to use or smart brains and work out how much everything costs x4 like the fight was $100 per person and then times it by 4 and then it is $400 and do the same to the rest and then we had to add the total and so mine is in my slide show to see it yourself!  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I liked this because I have never got to plan a holiday by myself and it was very easy but next time I would like more options for the things because I still have a lot of money left. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Inquiry 2024 week 6 t3

This is my inquiry.

We had to copy a side show about if we were an Olympic athlete what sport we would do and what we eat and what we would do for training like for e.g. A wight lifter can lift a lot of wights. we had to design the uniform we would wear and the sport does not have to be a sport we are good at for example someone wants to do tennis but does not know how to play but that is okay anyway because.

PB4L 2024 week 6 t3

This week we had PB4L. We were learning about what is right about parking and not and crossing the road.

Now what we were doing was we had to make a DLO poster about crossing the road or parking so mine was about parking. My parking one was about were NOT to park and stuff in a Canva poster. I added where you can park HOW you can go not park there and WHY can’t we park there and the area that we can’t park is the orange cones at the gate at school.

I liked this thing because I just love using Canva because getting to chose a DLO id nice because it is for me.

 

Writing 2024 week 6 t3

Today I am sharing my week 6 reading. We were learning how to write a good narrative thos term we  lent about a suture and wrote a hook, problem, solution, and paragraphs.

 

Now to tell you what I was doing for the thing I am blogging. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*.✧

At the start we had to come up with a few ideas of what our story was about but I had two ideas one my goldfish having wings and can fly and two a women meeting a dragon, and then now I can’t remember the rest.

so…

We had to write a story about what we chose as our story like mine is about a busy women named Niya meeting a dragon that stays with her, because I like dragons and it is Inspired by my favourite anime comic book witch is NOT for little kids like us. we had to write on a google doc our story.

I did not like this thing because we had to watch this story called the three little pigs and the somewhat bad wolf a million trillion times.

This is my week 6 reading. we had the same books as last week. we had sports day, Hooked on hokey,my dad the soccer star, giving a shot, teamwork, and rugby under wraps. my story was sports day. The story is about a girl named Grace and she being very worried about sports day because she always misses the ball and then this time she catches it.

Create task one was to copy the right thing witch was a story map or a flowchart and if we had a fiction story we should use the story map and if we had a non-fiction story we had to use the flow chart. My story was a fiction story so I did the story map.

I liked this task because I did not take much time of the week and it is easy. (◕ᴗ◕✿)

 

Create task two of my choice was the red one witch was clalled create. In the task we had to summarise the ending and then getting to make up our own ending.

Create task three was to evaluate the actions of the main character in our story. we also had to write what was the problem and who the character resolvedthe problem like the solution.

I did not like this task because it did not make sense and was a bit to hard for me.

 

Maths 2023 week 5 t3

This is my week 5 maths and the WALT is WALT: partition and subtract using apparatus.

Now what we were doing was that we were doing partitioning and we had to use the Interactive whiteboard and do 8 questions on the IWB. we had to use a place value chart and we had to write stuff in it like 20-1=.

Reading 2024 week 5 t3

This week I am blogging my reading. Now the text summaries, The scaffolding texts was a boout the Netball ruleslike how the cort works what moves we can do and other things. ( The summaries are not finished.) We had some very nice books we had sports day, Hooked on hokey,  My dad, the soccer star, Giving it a shot, Team work, and Ruby under warps. Most of these books sounded interesting but I chose team work for no reason I just did a random one. This weeks tasks were similar so but not the same. sooooooo.

Create task one was to copy something if we had a story or an article we would do different ones. If we had a story we would do a story map and if we did an article we would copy a flow chart and write stuff in it. Mine was a story so I did the story map.

I liked this task because one it is not summarising and two it did not take up much time but next time I would like to not find the problem because in some story you mostly can’t find the problem. (◕ᴗ◕✿)

 

Create task two of my choice was the question one which was blue and we had to write three questions and answers in full sentences and we must include a why and how question. My DLO was a Google doc.

I did not like this task because I did not like the answering questions like those.

Today we had wrteing.

We had to make a Google slides or doc and we could use Canva. So I used Canva because it has a lot of cute and nice things we can use. we had to go to the writing slides and then scroll down to the poetry slides from term one! We had to choose a poem and write one. mine was a name poem were we can write any word like this like school so for my word I chose my name.

Reading 2024 week 4 t3

WALT: Skim and read specific information.

This week in reading we had some books about sports! This week my journal story was about tennis this was about how tennis evolved and how to play.

After reading my book we had to watch the texts. The scaffolding text was called a quick Gide to Olympics tennis this text will be summarised in create task two and also the other tasks. ｡◕‿◕｡  The complementary text was called the William sisters near perfect tennis pair l the Olympics on the record, and the challenge text was called Olympics tennis.  ^_________^

Create task one was to summarise our sport story on a DLO so my DLO was a Canva poster which is a very easy DLO to summarise things on because you do not need to add much changing moving animation things, and not a lot of pictures. (◕ᴗ◕✿)

This task was okay but next time can please we not summarise our story since we have summarised too many things in reading. ( that includes our questions. )

 

 

Create task two was not the same as last week because this time I course the one were I had to summarise MORE things on a DLO mine was the summarise one because I did not know witch one to do because I did the ones I want to do this week. for my DLO I chose a Canva video. (◕ᴗ◕✿)

 

 

I liked this task for some reason because I don’t know why. ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

 

Create task three for me I chose the green one witch was to plan what I would bring if there was a winter sport torderment for or sport mine was tennis so I would bring a tennis racket. We had to do it on a DLO so mine was a Google drawing because I have not used Google things in a million years.

I liked this task because it was fun but next time I would like the book choices to be the sports of what sports we are doing so when we go to the torderment we have a rough idea of what to bring. ^_________^

Reading 2024 week 3 t3

WALT: skim and read  to locate specific information.

This week we had some very nice books, and my story was about gymnastic. Gymnastics is when a gymnast does amazing moves in the air and on the ground. There is rhythmic gymnastics and artistic gymnastics. The texts were (the greatest moments in gymnastics, Someone Biles get gold with a stunning routine, and NZ gymnastics!

 

Now here are the tasks. ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧

 

Cretae task one was to make a DLO do my choice and write about what were why and more. My DLO was a Canva poster.

I did not like this task because for the questions we had to summarise and I do not like summarising things because I have to always to summarise things and I am getting sick of it. So next time can we not summarise things like story’s.

 

The second create task was to choose a DLO of our choice and getting to choose our task. on slide four of the reading slides now we can choose the same ones as last week because we had different books. (◕ᴗ◕✿)

( I am not do not do gymnastics so I do not know much about it.)

 

 

I did not like the task because we had to avitise and because there is not a lot of options to choose because of my sport.

 

for my thiers create task I choose to disgin a shoe and then write why it whoud help the athlete. I chose some sneakers were they have some chalk so they can go on the beam.

I liked this task because I do like using my colouring pencils a lot. ^_________^
